Terms and Conditions

Please note – Ensure the installer follows the correct compressor installation procedure and seek professional, qualified help in installing the unit properly. You must ensure that you rectify the cause of the original compressor failure before fitting the new one, otherwise the replacement is also likely to fail.

Please note that all parts sold now receive a 2 year warranty. Where a warranty issue is present the replacement part must be supplied by Auto AirCon Parts and will be invoiced accordingly. Should a replacement not be available from Auto AirCon Parts then we will do our utmost to source a suitable replacement, under no circumstances will we be liable to paying for a part not supplied/approved by us (replacement sourced without our prior knowledge from automotive dealership) we reserve the right to repair, replace or refund.

Please check before fitting that the unit ordered fits your car, so check against any available photo on the website or against OE numbers off the exisiting unit or from the main dealer, as we will not be held liable for parts attempted to be fitted that are incorrect. Visually inspect the replacement compressor to ensure it is complete, pulley is aligned with existing unit, connections match, and there is no damage. It is your responsibility to check first. Returned items attempted to be fitted or modified in any way will not be refunded.

Units that have failed may be subject to further investigation by the manufacturer.

Orders delivered outside of the UK:
Please note that due to shipping costs, and exchange rate fluctuations warranty returns, items not needed etc will be refunded less ORIGINAL shipping costs paid and any collection costs as well as the rules applying below. Please note that we are not liable for any import taxes, duties etc that need to be paid on internationally shipped orders. These, if incurred, must be paid by the customer. We do not refund shipping costs for orders delivered outside the UK, or items returned to us from outside the UK. Any items returned due to non payment of any import taxes and duties will be refunded if the item is in a resaleable condition and less any incurred costs in getting the unit back to us. To Return a faulty item:
If your unit appears to have failed and you wish to claim a warranty replacement then the following rules MUST be obeyed:
1. Please call or email us to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Number.
2. We will provide you with an RMA number and provide convenient collection date.
3. You must return the unit for inspection. Ensure the unit is complete, and ideally in its original packaging to avoid any damage in transit.
4. Ensure a copy of the original invoice stating exactly what has been changed and work carried out (to also include the mileage and current mileage when part was changed) must be supplied, failure to do so will invalidate warranty from the manufacturer. Warranty forms supplied with compressors must be completed.
5. Remanufactured compressors will also require the same information as above.;
6. All returned compressors must be returned with the original oil in place and capped; this is vital to ascertain why the unit has failed.;

Note that no returns will be accepted without prior authorisation. Be advised that on inspecting a unit returned under warranty we cannot always re-assemble it but will always endeavour to do so should it need to be returned to you.
Upon return of failed item (with a copy of the original invoice or invoice number) refund will be arranged once inspection has been fully carried out and item agreed as warranted.
Should the item be deemed as not faulty (fault of installation/incorrect installation procedures/damage during installation) then the item will be returned with no refund and will remain payable to the prices on the replacement part invoice that refers. It may be necessary to return said item to original manufacturer where their decision is final and replacement part invoice remains payable.

Compressors Installation procedure:
